IIRG illustrates as Intenational Institute for Research in Glass. During the project I was working as Web Development Manager for the project. The project duration was 7 months (July,07 to February,08).

This was a short term project for 4 months initially. But due to the change in the requirements by the client the duration was extended for another 3 months. The project objective was to develop a website based on Plone content management system based on Zope application server. Development involved DTML, TAL, CSS, XHTML, XML, JavaScript, Python, Zope configuration, Zope object db management, Plone configuration, Workflow design and implementation, User management etc.

My responsibility was to manage the project entirely. During the project management for the project I had to do requirement elicitation, analyze them, define the tasks and schedule them, critical path (for critical tasks) analysis, update them, keep the client updated about the project. I also produced all the project management documents, such as schedule, Gantt chart, task list, task completion report etc. There were three more advisors involved with this project including the IT manager, University of Sunderland, Web Administrator of School of Computing and Technology, University of Sunderland and Director of IIRG.
